Between Gendarmenmarkt and the press district

The Krausenhöfe building belongs to one of the oldest parts of Berlin: northern Friedrichstadt. This district has undergone an impressive development, particularly in the last few years. From the traditional centre of creative trades and services has emerged a closely interlinked quarter with ideal working conditions and a dynamic urban lifestyle.
Today it is home to the headquarters and branches of companies operating nationally and worldwide in the fields of publishing, fashion and the mineral oil industry. Seven federal ministries, numerous federal state offices and more than 20 embassies are located in Friedrichstadt.
The strong appeal of this part of the city attracts a large variety of shops, restaurants, cafés and hotels, also in the direct vicinity of Krausenhöfe.
